My history spans an early childhood in Minnesota followed by years spent moving from one small town to another in the central United States.(I used to joke that my family's second car was a U-Haul van!) Today my story finds me in Des Moines, Iowa where I've lived for 20 years, the last 13 of which I've spent with my long-suffering husband, Frank. From this point on, my tale is a mystery. It's not always spell-binding, but I love turning the pages!
Interests: writing, reading, design, communications, photography, travel, self-help, do-it-yourself projects.

I found it difficult to classify my Denomnation/Movement - I think one's spiritual life is far more than the religion. I guess I am a Christian (I currently belong to a Methodist Church) but my "path" is more Zen or Tao. I am a grandmother (one child with four children). I am a business analyst by profession (in IT) but that doesn't come close to defining who or what I am. In fact, at the ripe old age of "60 something" I am still trying to figure out what (or who) I want to be when I grow up, with the help of a wonderful Spiritual Director. I believe the adage "growing old is mandatory but growing up is not".
Interests: knitting (i've knit a number of "prayer shawls", part of the joy of knitting is giving it away when it is done), photography (still not really into digital, although i own two digital cameras), hiking with friends, gardening. my cats (three young lynx point siamese, one old tabby), reading - mostly "spiritual" literature, but i'm always open to new things.
