On another forum I used to frequent some members wrote a list of things they were thankful for. I always found it very inspiring. Maybe some people here will too.
I'm thankful for:
sleeping in a warm, cozy bed
dreams, just because sometimes they are so weird
my husband who makes me laugh
my 16 year old daughter who gets up for school all on her own every single day
my four fuzzy cats who never leave me (feeling all) alone
strrreeeettttching (oh, there's nothing like a good stretch in the morning)
inspiring music (I love that song on the CVS commercials "It's
just another ordinary miracle today")
The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie
this space to be able to continue the New Morning experience in a whole new way
all the trees I see out the window of my little country house (even when they're bare and just brown, they are still so magnificent!)
another day to be alive!!

I'm thankful for:
my bathtub and the experience of take a bath: the smell of the soap (mmmm lavender), the feel of the water, and being able to be clean
warm soup on a chilly day

a family to care for
my soul-friend Dee
frozen puff pastry to put on chicken pot pie.....mmmmmm
money in our savings account
the birds and squirrells that visit our yard
paint and something to paint on and the creation process and the creation itself
SARK and all the changes she's helped me make in myself

It's another day....dishes to do, cats to take care of, dinner to make...another day to battle with what I battle with. Today, I'm winning because I'm going to start with being thankful for...
waking up today
getting done everything I've gotten done recently
friends who are wonderfully funny, a thrill to be around, and so kind and generous that they'd offer you their car if you need it...Andrew and Kim are a blessing in my family's life
cute curtains that also happen to be cheap 
Who I Am
New Morning for all that it brought to my life
1 1/2 acres of woods
my funny husband and the video games we play together
the fact that after we played for an hour and got through 4 really really really hard boards and then the game froze....we laughed and laughed about it and began all over again (and then we beat its butt!)
sunshine and the approaching spring
glue, for fixing things that break
The Universe, for all the ways that it speaks to me
hugs from a kitten

Another day, another list of 'stuff' to be thank'full for~
being ALIVE
weather~stripping (for those with a dirty mind...I mean around the door )
laughter...laughing with tears rolling down face, belly hurting (my most favorite experience here on Earth)
my family
the way they make me choke on hot chocolate because they are just so gosh darn funny!
me, Me, and ME and them, Them, and THEM and us, Us, and US!
self~love and the realization of Joy
new music (Sara Bareilles)
the ability to laugh at stress'full stuff
Lancaster County, the country
a clean house
clean laundry
the bird with the red head outside my window
a 16 year old daughter I'd pick as a friend if I was 16
The amazing fact that I somehow rose above the way I was raised and woke up out of the sleep'walk life and chose a more peaceful/enjoyable/fabulous way
