| Now that the Show has ended, how are you getting your daily dose of morning inspiration? I'm starting each day with Sarah Ban Breathnach's "Simple Abundance" and a vintage copy of Guidepost magazine's "Daily Guideposts". What are you reading or doing? |

That's the problem, I'm not getting my daily dose of morning inspiration!! I do read quite a bit and received a book by the Dali Lama recently, but I miss watching the show at the start of my day. It put me in a calm mood and focused my mind in positive ways. I'm not a morning person! I have been tuning into Sunrise Earth on the Animal Planet channel in the mornings while I'm getting ready. It is very calming, but I miss the quotes, stories and ideas from New Morning. |

I also haven't found anything yet that can replace "New Morning" for me. I have the last few weeks saved on DVR. I haven't watched them all yet. I guess I'm saving them for when I really need them. Perhaps soon I'll fill that hour with a workout. I ordered the intensSati program I saw on "New Morning". I like it. It's not only a workout, but it's mental and emotional positivity. I'm not there yet though. So to answer your question....so far nada. I'm still in the missing it phase. There isn't anything else like it. It was the whole package...the words, the voices, the faces, the beautiful scenes. ~Deep breath~ |

I missed the show with intensSati - can you tell me about it? I, too, haven't found anything to fill that inspirational spot in my morning. I've either been starting my exercises earlier - or taking the new pup for a walk. |

I'll do my best to describe it: The two DVD's that I have (Intention and Power AND Great Body, Great Life) are motions paired with words. For example - with your arms 'punching' out from your chest the words are "I am stronger now, I am stronger now..." There's a rhythm to the motion and the words. There's lots of other ones too, but that just gives you an idea. I love these videos! The setting of the workout is very soothing...warms colors and cool music. And Patricia, the woman who began intenSati, is adorable and very inspiring! I've never been a big workout person, so I thought something that was more up my alley (with the spiritual stuff included) would help me work out. Plus I really needed some positive self statements. I was doing good, until I was in a car accident, but I'm ready to begin again. I would recommend these videos. I hope this helps. Awww, new puppy? How cute! |

Like many, I too miss New Morning as part of my morning "inspiration". I've always subscribed to Daybook which I am able to access before I go to work and find the inspiration there a positive addition to writing in my gratitude journal. I recently purchased at a local Goodwill store Joel Siegel's book (late ABC film critic) written for his young son "Lessons for Dylan". A wonderful book written by a Joel as a father late in life and facing cancer. As a writer and speaker on recovering from loss and caregiver workshops, this book proves to be inspirational, encouraging, and full of faith. A book I recommend. Thanks for sharing this forum... Hi Vivien, Patricia Moreno's intenSati program was featured on the July 31, 2007 show, in her studio interview with Timberly. Her segment was entitled, "STUDIO / To Your Health / Patricia Moreno," and you can still watch the clip of her interview. Visit her website, IntenSati.com for more information about the practice of practice of intensati and information on how to order her videos. And for anyone else who's interested, even though the show isn't on the air anymore, you can still view clips from the past shows. Visit the Past Shows Index here. |
